Spaghetti Opera

Spaghetti Opera is a ground breaking piece of 'Opera Theatre'. Set to some of the world's most popular operatic tunes, arias and ensembles the show is guaranteed to have you laughing and crying, possibly at the same time.

The Story...

Figaro owns and runs his own little cafe, for many years the only customers he has had are town Mayor (Don Flagiolini) and his estranged wife (Flora Flambe). Figaro can't cook and so trys to distract the clientelle with substandard singing. The only good thing about his restaurant is the wine.

One stormy night a beautiful young woman (Lola) arrives in need of shelter. He obliges not knowing that she is running away from her bullying ganster boyfriend (Tony Canellonni). When Tony comes looking for her Fiagro's world is flipped upside-down like one of his crepes.

The show currently runs in 2 halves of 30 minutes each and contains music from:

Tosca, La Boheme, Norma, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, William Tell, Il Trovatore, La Traviata and assorted Neopolitan Songs
